English Iranian mum Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe, who has been held in Iran for the year and a half, has been told she is qualified for early discharge, her significant other has said.
Richard Ratcliffe revealed to BBC Radio 5 Live that an Iranian legal database had recorded her as “qualified for discharge”.
Mrs. Zaghari-Ratcliffe has been held in Iran since April 2016 subsequent to being blamed for spying – charges she denies.
MP Tulip Siddiq said the news had given the family a “flash of light”.
